Profile: Ready2invest: Jonty Crossick

I studied Economics at St John’s College, Cambridge and graduated with a distinction EMBA from London Business School.

I now run Ready2invest alongside my wife Alise.

We are successful entrepreneurs and property investors, we formed Ready2invest Ltd in 2003. The brokering arm of the company has established a 25,000 strong database of UK investors and sold over €400 million of off-plan property across 16 countries, typically circa 20-30% - but often reaching 55% - discounts to market value.

Ready2invest’s private equity division has separately raised in excess of €150 million in capital that has been placed in eighteen developments across eight countries with an aggregate gross development value nearing €2 billion. Ready2invest are a dynamic, company offering a wide range of solutions to suit any investment scenario from property purchases to Funds.

Our enthusiasm for property started in 2002 when we sold our nationwide retail business to move into full-time property investment. After turning £300,000 capital into a £3.5million equity stake we decided to set up Ready2invest to share our property know-how. Since then we have sold over €400million of off plan property to our 25,000-strong network of investors in 17 countries across the world.
 
Whether we’re buying in established or emerging markets our common sense approach is the same: We buy under market value, we structure deals to make your investment work hard for you and we look for capital growth hotspots where demand is high but supply constrained.
 
Over the last five years we have built up a contacts book of finders, developers, lawyers and architects to help alert us to potential property deals and to deliver the best under market value investments to you. We study changing political and economic climates to spot the potential in land and developments. Due to my background in Economics my business-driven mentality ensures the projects deliver the best financial results to pass on to investors.
 
We also operate a private equity arm, which has raised over €150million for 18 developments in eight countries, with an aggregate gross development value of nearly €2 billion.
